This incredible product is known as a biostimulator or skin bio-remodeller meaning it changes the structure and function of the skin from within. Offering skin rejuvenation, collagen and elastin stimulation and deep hydration all from a single treatment.

This new bio-remodeller promotes healthy, glowing and radiant skin and has been used overseas for over seven years with excellent results and safety profile. Nearly five million treatments have been performed worldwide.

Unfortunately due to Australian advertising regulations of prescription medicines we cannot name the product. It is vastly different from other injectables such as dermal fillers and collagen stimulators and is not used to volumise, fill or lift the skin. The product remodels the skin, improving the cellular environment which in turn reduces the visible signs of ageing.
Best performed as an initial course of two treatments, spaced four weeks apart, this bio-remodeller will keep you looking natural, rejuvenated and hydrated.

As we age, we start to deplete our stores of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin, resulting in loss of skin hydration, firmness and support. These effects can be seen from as early as 30 and continue to degrade over time. Focusing on skin bio-remodelling can counteract these changes and prevent further changes to the skin.

Bio-remodelling Injectables FAQs
What does the treatment involve?
Prior to your bio-remodelling treatment a full consultation with one of our cosmetic registered nurses or doctors is required. This will include full clinical photography, skin assessment and review with the doctor or nurse to assess your areas of concern, expectations and determine the need for any other complementary treatments. A tailored treatment plan will be devised with the aim to provide the best possible results and a natural harmonious look.
Treatment with bio-remodelers may involve some discomfort. In certain cases, the application of a topical anaesthetic will be used prior to the treatment being performed.
The bio-remodelling injectable treatment is the same for everyone which is what makes it so unique. The 2ml syringe is injected into specifically defined areas of the skin (face, neck or decolletage) using specific Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP).
These special injection points maximise the spread of the product and have been specifically chosen to maximise results.
Once injected, the product immediately starts spreading however you will leave the treatment with expected lumps and bumps from the procedure which will disappear after 24 hours.
How long do results last?
Results are dependent on maintenance treatments for long-term natural outcomes.
For initial results, 2 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart are required to ensure maximal hydration and skin stimulation. In certain cases such as severe sun damage, laxity and volume loss 3 initial sessions will be required.
Following an initial treatment course, maintenance treatment of a single session (2ml per face, neck or decolletage) is required every 6 months.
Other injectables such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and skin treatments are still recommended in between sessions to complement results based on your treatment plan.
What happens after my treatment?
Aftercare is very similar to a normal injectable procedure and will be explained fully after your treatment. Normal activities can generally be resumed post treatment.
Ice/cool compress can be applied to reduce discomfort, swelling and bruising.
NO makeup is to be applied to the treated area for at least 24 hours
Do not lie down immediately after, or do strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours.
Do not have any facial treatment such as laser or peels for at least 2 weeks.
Do not touch your face or apply pressure to the treated area.
The treatment areas WILL appear lumpy for up to 48 hours in some cases (an average of 24 hours).
Results are seen after your first 2 treatments.
What are the risks of treatment?
With any medical procedure, there are always risks involved and your nurse will discuss all risks and contraindications prior to performing any procedure.
There are minimal side effects associated with bio-remodelling injections. These may include but are not limited to:

Local swelling and asymmetry due to swelling

Redness

Lumpiness or irregularity of the skin

Pain and discomfort
Rare complications include allergic reactions, the formation of granulomas or delayed onset nodules, secondary bacterial or viral infections (for example reactivation of the cold sore virus), damage to vascular structures, ischaemia and blindness (very rare).
Bio-remodelling injections cannot be given to people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are currently unwell with any infection.
